This line graph shows the total number of applications of various Cellular Tissue Products- CTPs/CAMPs (aka “skin substitutes”) applied in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers over the last 5 years in all sites of care, measured quarterly. Only the top 7 CTPs are shown. This graph is updated quarterly. Only the top 7 CTPs from the last quarter are shown. Click here to view the dataset behind this graph.

Increases in the number of total applications can be due to an increase in the total volume of wounds seen. However, the ratio of the brands to each other is surprisingly constant with a few notable exceptions. Changes in Medicare coverage policy around CTPs would likely cause significant changes in the utilization of affected products.
