This line graph shows the total number of applications of various Cellular Tissue Products – CTPs/CAMPs (aka “skin substitutes”) applied in the treatment of venous leg ulcers (VLUs) over the last 5 years in all sites of care, measured quarterly. Only the top 7 CTPs from the last quarter are shown.
It is possible to see the introduction of new products, which appear suddenly, often with dramatic increases in utilization. Changes in Medicare coverage policy around CTPs would likely cause significant changes in the utilization of affected products. This graph is updated quarterly.
