Leaderboard of CTPs by Usage Volume over Time

Report Description

This racing bar graph shows the top 10 most popular CTPs/CAMPs (aka “skin substitute”) brands, quarter-by-quarter from 2016 through 2024 in the treatment of all wound/ulcer types. This report does not look at the number of applications per wound, but the frequency with which a given brand is selected. For example, if SkinSubA was applied four times to the same wound, it only counts as “one wound” for the purpose of this report. Click here to view the dataset behind our reports.

This graph is updated quarterly using data from wound care practitioners of all practice settings (e.g. hospital-based outpatient department and “mobile” practices), although many products are only used in the “mobile/office-based” setting. This graph is not intended to provide insights into the comparative effectiveness of products. The graph depicts patterns of utilization that can be impacted by many factors (e.g., payer coverage policies, wound size, product availability, etc.).
